Once you have picked up your permit, please review all documents for changes that may have been made to the submitted drawings. If any changes raise concern, review them with your plans examiner.
Along with permit drawings you will receive the permit card and the important notice to permit holders card. These are discussed in detail below. On the same card you will find required reports, the mandatory inspections list and certificates to be provided during the construction process.
If a commitment form is filled out and signed, those professionals have committed to perform general reviews of the construction. Please review these requirements with your inspectors. Delays in submitting required documents can result in orders being issued and/or delaying of occupancy and/or closing the permit.
Please review the list of mandatory inspections for your type of permit (located on the back of your permit card) as some of these may not apply.
