Performing arts in Brampton continue to provide outstanding cultural experiences to diverse audiences. Help grow and enhance arts and culture by sponsoring venues like The Rose, newly renovated Cyril Clark Lecture Hall and the revitalization of Lester B. Pear​son theatre.​​​​​​​​​

With over 150,000 visitors walking through its doors every year, The Rose Season features over 100 productions every year that include theatre, music, dance, comedy, educational and cultural events, providing authentic performances for culture lovers in Brampton.​

A program that brings the art of performance to Brampton elementary school students and aligns with school curriculums. It inspires, educates and entertains young people through live theatre.​​

THIS IS BRAMPTON provides an open platform for local talent and creative entrepreneurs, as well as an opportunity for multi-disciplinary artistic and audience development. The Performing Arts Division collaborates with Brampton arts companies, artists, promoters, and producers who have demonstrated success and interest in presenting and promoting high-quality artists, as well as developing a local audience with a particular genre interest and a demonstrated commitment to improving the arts in Brampton.​

​The Centre Stage Conservatory is a free training program for young Brampton and surrounding area artists to engage in professional development and mentorship to enhance and enrich their artistic sensibilities. All participants attend monthly workshops on a variety of topics taught by leading artists/practitioners in their field, on themes that aim to challenge participants to view their art through new lenses​.​

Garden Square hosts free entertainment all summer long that highlights Brampton’s vibrant arts and culture community. Our events host entertainment from local to international performers, and celebrates the diversity of our city. Featured events include East Coast Kitchen Party and Stomp n’ Stampede.​​

​The Performing Arts Program aims to celebrate and elevate Black and Indigenous youth, increase cultural understanding, provide opportunities for professional development, and prepare students for future leadership positions and careers in the live performance industry.​
