AMPS Parking Penalty Notice Payment Information

If you have received a Penalty Notice (Parking Ticket) you can either pay the Penalty Notice or request a screening review of your Penalty Notice.  Please see below and refer to the back of your Penalty Notice for details:

Option 1: Voluntary Payment

A. ONLINE PAYMENT 
        Visa, Master Card or American Express 
        Online payments will be subject to a $1.50 processing fee (plus applicable taxes) per Penalty Notice.

B. Payment by Telephone

    • Visa, Master Card or American Express

      24 hours a day, 7 days a week 
      Telephone payments will be subject to a $2.50 processing fee (plus applicable taxes) per ticket or fine.

C. Payment in Person

    • Visit a Service Brampton location to make a payment in person. Click here ​to view Service Brampton’s hours and locations.

Please DO NOT send cash in the mail and allow sufficient mailing time.

Make all cheques and money orders payable to “City of Brampton” and write the number of the Penalty Notice on the front. Post-dated cheques will NOT be accepted. Dishonoured cheques and credit cards will be subject to an administrative fee and, if the period of deficiency causes the Penalty Notice due date to lapse and the penalty amount to go into default, an additional fee will be charged and information may be forwarded to a credit bureau.

Option 2: Dispute Penalty Notice (not accepted by mail)

If you wish to dispute your Penalty Notice, you, or someone acting on your behalf must within 15 days of the date of the Penalty Notice select one of the following:

  • Failure to appear at your scheduled Screening Review may result in additional fees being applied.

You CANNOT set a screening review date by mail

NOTICE TO ONTARIO MOTORISTS

Failure to pay the Penalty Notice (and related fees) imposed upon affirmation will result in your Ontario Vehicle Permit not being renewed and no new permit being issued to you until the Penalty Notice and all related fees have been paid. ​​​​​​​​
