The Project Team has released the First Preliminary Draft of the Proposed Comprehensive Zoning By-law. This draft is intended for discussion purposes only, and the contents of the document are subject to change as a result of further review and consultation.

The zoning information displayed was compiled in fall 2023 and may not reflect the most up-to-date zoning information. For current zoning information inquires please contact Zoning Information Services (e: Zoning.Inquiries@brampton.ca; t: 905-874-2090). The proposed zoning for individual properties may be updated to better reflect existing conditions and Council directions upon further assessment.

For general questions about the proposed zoning, please email CZBReview@brampton.ca (and identify the address of the property in the email).

If you have specific comments about the proposed zoning of your property, please provide your comments after registering to our Interested Party List.

Know The Zoning of Your Property

The Interactive Mapping Tool below shows the in-effect zoning (By-law 270-2004, as amended) and the parental zoning in the current version of the proposed Comprehensive Zoning By-law for all properties in Brampton.

You can click on indiviual property for further info. Use the slider tool to visually compare between the current and proposed zoning, or select individual layers using the “Select Feature” button at the top right corner of the pop-up window to see additional zoning provisions and requirements.

Additional overlays for the new Comprehensive Zoning By-law will be available in future revised versions.

Site-specific zoning regulations for the new Comprehensive Zoning By-law will be identified and displayed in future versions of the new Comprehensive Zoning By-law.
