BRAMPTON, ON – Brampton
Arts Organization (BAO) and Brampton On Stage are gearing up to return to the North by Northeast (NXNE) Music Festival, bringing local talent to showcase Brampton’s creativity. The City is inviting local artists to apply for one of five spots in Brampton’s NXNE official program. The festival is taking place in Toronto on June 12-16, 2024.
For one evening during this year’s festival, Brampton artists will take over an entire venue in Downtown Toronto. Up to five local bands and artists will have a 40-minute set and each will receive an artist fee from the City of Brampton.
Brampton Arts Organization and Brampton On Stage aim to discover and showcase Brampton’s diverse musical talent. This initiative aligns with a shared commitment to foster a vibrant arts and local culture scene.

Local artists are encouraged to visit the website to apply. The deadline is Sunday, February 11, at 11:59 pm.
About the NXNE Music Festival
North by Northeast (NXNE) is a discovery music festival focusing on promoting emerging musicians, supporting Toronto’s amazing live music venues, and connecting audiences with new acts they need to hear. NXNE has been discovering and presenting new music and new ideas since 1995. Over 200,000 attend the festival every June in Toronto. The festival presents top curated, emerging artists from Canada and around the world in ideal showcase settings.
NXNE will present showcase gigs at Toronto’s best live music venues from June 12-16, 2024.
