Planning your wedding? Before getting married in Ontario, you must obtain a marriage licence. Learn about the requirements and timelines for obtaining a marriage licence from the City of Brampton.

Civil Marriage Ceremonies (non-religious)

Couples who are looking for a simple and dignified approach to exchange their marriage vows can book their ceremony with the City. Ceremonies are conducted at Brampton City Hall, between Tuesday - Friday (with the exception of Statutory Holidays) during office hours only.  The venue can accommodate up to a maximum of eight (8) people - find out more about our Civil Marriage Ceremonies here.
