Citizens Awards

Since 1974, the City has honoured more than 3,500 outstanding residents in the community in the areas of sports, arts, and community service.

Sports Hall of Fame

The program celebrates outstanding individual contributions to the development of sport. We honour accomplishments on and off the playing field, preserve great sports figures, and educate youth on the value of sports.

Arts Walk of Fame

As one of the City’s key recognition programs, it celebrates and builds connections with the incredible artistic and creative talent emerging from Brampton, while inspiring the next generation of artists and creators to follow in their footsteps.

Urban Design Awards

These awards celebrate achievements in design, architecture and landscape architecture. Given out every two years, it recognizes the creativity and excellence of those who are working to fill Brampton with innovative, high-quality environments.

Accessibility Awards

This civic recognition program identifies individuals, businesses, and organizations who demonstrate a commitment to accessibility and inclusion of people with disabilities.

Grow Green Awards

This new awards program recognizes residents, businesses, organizations and institutions for their important contributions to the City – in ways that support our environment, sustainability, climate change reduction and low-carbon future.
