Summer Company offers up to a $3,000 grant and provides valuable training, mentoring and coaching to youth 15 to 29 years of age.
This program provides mentoring and up to $5,000 for those 18+ wanting to start, buy or expand a business.
Students can connect to ask questions, share ideas and form new professional relationships. A coffee is a simple and fun way to meet, engage, and learn from those in the Brampton small business community.
In partnership
with the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District
School Board, the Recreation division offers ICE (Innovation, Creativity and
Entrepreneurship) workshops. A variety of certifications are also offered to
align with Specialist High Skills Major goals.
The facility, located at 41 George Street, will initially offer co-working space as a pilot to allow clients to get a feel of the new experience at no cost. The pilot is also an opportunity for the BEC team to measure project feasibility and efficiency.
