Everyone is welcome to join us at the pool this summer for free swims! Pools are available city-wide on select dates for one-hour public drop-ins.

Youth Drop-in Programs

Youth aged 6 to 17 are encouraged to drop in to a Brampton community centre each week to participate in a wide range of fun and engaging activities, including swimming, sports, dance, crafts, and games.

Youth Nights

Select Brampton community centres are home to Youth Nights. This $2 drop-in program gives youth aged 6 to15 an engaging place to gather with peers and take part in various activities, including sports, fitness, swimming, and interactive games.
​Come out for Summer Movies Under the Stars across Brampton during July and August! Information regarding show times and locations is provided each May for the upcoming season. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy free, family-friendly outdoor movies at a local recreation centre. Join us for games and activities before the show.

JumpStart

The Recreation division offers a variety of free community development programs, funded through ​Canadian Tire JumpStart Charities​. Programming is targeted to youth 4 to 17 living in vulnerable communities.

ActiveAssist

The ActiveAssist program increases accessibility to recreation programs for individuals living at or below the low-income cut-off, by providing $275 credit per person per year.

National Youth Week

The City of Brampton celebrates National Youth Week every May. This week recognizes youth and their positive contributions in the community. Young people between the ages of 10 to 18 years are invited to participate in a range of free activities at community centres.

Family Day

A variety of fun, low-cost and free activities are offered throughout Brampton community centres for youth and their families during Family Day.

Bunny Eggscitement

Free Easter themed activities include swimming, skating, crafts, and interactive games at various community centres.

Sports Day in Brampton

Hosted annually in partnership with the Brampton Sports Alliance, Sports Day in Brampton provides youth an opportunity to try new sports and activities through free drop-ins. This event also gives youth a chance to learn about and connect with minor sports groups in Brampton.
