Outdoor - Day 1
Morning
Enjoy outdoor fun with the beauty of nature as your backdrop at Heart Lake Conservation Area. The hiking trails offer some of the most panoramic vistas in southern Ontario.
Use the trail guide to follow the Lake Trail for an easy and peaceful 4km walk around the water.
Continue your nature escape close to the City with a Treetop Trekking session. The park has activities for ages 9+ including 4 beginner/intermediate courses, 1 advanced course and a 1,000-foot zip line crossing right over Heart Lake!
Afternoon
Book a tee time for Peel Village Golf Course, located in the heart of Brampton. The course offers nine challenging holes in a natural setting. The course is a mix of tree-lined dog legs, water hazards, sand traps, elevated tee boxes and greens.
Evening
Just a short drive from Peel Village Golf Course, you can experience all Downtown Brampton has to offer before the end of your day.
Gaze upon Brampton’s historic architecture. Tread the very path walked upon by Bramptonians more than a century ago. Journey through time and explore Brampton’s past by following the Downtown Heritage Walking Tour.
Be sure to take a stroll through the charming Gage Park before resting up for day 2 of activities.
Outdoor - Day 2
Morning
Beat the rush and enjoy your morning at Professor’s Lake where you can swim, play volleyball, rent a paddleboat or canoe.
Afternoon
Take a ride with your bike along the Chinguacousy Recreation Trail. Park just down the street from Professor’s Lake at the Ellen Mitchell Recreation Centre. Take an easy 5km ride (20 minutes) South into Chinguacousy Park.
If you have got some extra time, check out some of the great experiences Chinguacousy Park has to offer including the ice cream vendor, splash pads, mini golf, and Mini-Moo farm.
Evening
Catch the sunset while horseback riding at Claireville Ranch. Let their experienced, friendly guides take you on a relaxing and peaceful journey. The one hour trail ride includes various terrain, wildlife sightings and reliable, good natured horses.
