Conduct At Council

       

        1.  Members shall conduct themselves at Council with decorum. Respect for all persons

             appearing before Council and for fellow members and staff requires that all members show

             courtesy and not distract from the business of the Council during presentations and when

             other members have the floor.

 

 
Commentary
 
A Member of Council recognizes the importance of cooperation and strives to create an atmosphere during Council and Committee meetings that is conducive to solving the issues before Council, listening to various point of view and using respectful language and behaviour in relation to all those in attendance.
