City of Brampton celebrates National Youth Week with Opening of Youth Hub

Join the City of Brampton for National Youth Week, May 1 – 7, 2023, with an entire week of activities, events, workshops and the grand opening of the Susan Fennell Sportsplex Youth Hub.

National Youth Week recognizes youth and their positive contributions to the community, including volunteerism, sport, leadership and more.​

Brampton youth are invited to join a series of free events hosted by the City, including Performing Arts Brampton’s Pass the Mic Night and a Parks Youth Community Clean Up and Scavenger Hunt. 

Pass the Mic is an Open Mic night for youth Poets, Singers, Rappers and Comedians ages 13-19 on May 4 at Cyril Clark Brampton. For more information click here.​

Youth can take part in the Parks Scavenger Hunt by submitting their pictures for a chance to win one of three prizes. Register here. Join the cleanup May 4 at Teramoto Park or Duncan Foster Valley. Participants will receive community hours. Click here for more information. 

Other events include a pool party, job information fair, inclusion dance, an eSports tournament and a closing event featuring basketball and soccer tournaments with Peel Police, The Brampton Honey Badgers and City of Brampton’s Corporate Security team.
