Project Launch – Parks and Recreation Master Plan 2016/2017

The City of Brampton is pleased to announce the official launch of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The Master Plan will guide the delivery of parks, open space, sports and recreation facilities for the City, over the next 15 years.

Parks and Recreation Master Plan 2016/2017 – Report to Council

On May 25, 2015 a presentation and report was presented to the Planning and Infrastructure Services Committee that outlined the project. This project was approved through the 2015 Capital Budget and a staff recommendation was endorsed by Council to allocate funding to assist in the development of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan for the City of Brampton.

On February 22, 2016 a second presentation and report was presented at Planning and Infrastructure Services Committee. This report gave an overview of the current status of the project including introducing the consultant team, outlining the Community Engagement Plan and project timelines.
